Katherine Senior and Matthew Parish formed Tilted Wig Productions in 2017.

We have over 17 years' experience producing and touring plays throughout the UK both as Tilted Wig and Creative Cow – a Devon-based theatre company we co-founded in 2007.  Over this time we have taken over 20 productions out on the road. 

​

From the very beginning of our careers as actors touring the depths of the British countryside, setting up shows in pubs and skittle alleys – and wherever anyone would take us – we have worked hard to create an ensemble of actors, crew and creatives.

Our shows now tour to some of the biggest theatres in the UK, yet that same ethos is still the driving force behind Tilted Wig Productions.

 

Whether Tilted Wig is producing a new piece of writing, a classic play or an exciting new adaptation, for each production we aim to bring together a vibrant and innovative creative team.

Last year our long time collaborator, Seán Aydon became our Artistic Director and is directing Frankenstein this Autumn and is currently working with us on a show in development for a tour next year. More news to come.

We thrive to work in a collaborative way for each project. We're a family friendly company and want people to feel they can ask about access requirements including childcare as well as other barriers they may face right from the start of the process at audition stage.

Recent productions include national tours:  A fresh take on The School for Scandal( co production with Malvern Theatres in association with Theatre by the Lake); a brand new telling of  Frankenstein; Around the World in 80 Days (co production with York Theatre Royal); The Legend of Sleepy Hollow (co production with Malvern Theatres); Lady Chatterley’s Lover, Murder Margaret and Me, The Picture of Dorian Gray, Great Expectations (all co productions with Malvern Theatres and Churchill Theatre, Bromley.

Other national tours include: The Lover, The Private Ear and The Public Eye, The Knack, The Anniversary, Travels With My Aunt, Dumb Show, The Farmer’s Wife, Two, Look Back in Anger, The Fair Maid of the West, Hard Times, Born in the Gardens, The Rivals, Charley’s Aunt, The Merry Wives of Windsor, She Stoops to Conquer (all UK tours); A Christmas Carol ( a co production with Exeter Northcott for their Christmas season in the main house).
